How a pop up blocker treats a lobby window
A blocker stops a page opening a second window you did not tap for. When a game, cashier page or help window opens in a new window, the blocker can swallow it and leave you on the same screen.

Cause 1: Safari’s Block Pop-ups switch is on
Nothing opens in Safari on your iPhone after you tap a game
Open Settings, tap Apps, tap Safari and find Block Pop-ups. Turn it off, return to the lobby, open the game, then switch it on again so other sites stay blocked.
Cause 2: Chrome on Android blocked the window
A notice appears at the bottom of Chrome and the window stays shut
Tap Always show on that notice. That lets the one site through while the blocker keeps working everywhere else. To change the default instead, tap More, Settings, Site settings, then Pop-ups and redirects.
Cause 3: Chrome on iPhone shows Pop-ups blocked

Select Always show on the notice. The next window from that site then opens.
Cause 4: enable cookies so the session holds
A lobby window that opens and then drops you at the login screen points to blocked cookies. Google defines cookies as files created by websites you visit that save information about your visit.
Safari opens the window but the lobby keeps asking you to log in
Open Settings, tap Apps, tap Safari, tap Advanced and turn off Block All Cookies. On Chrome for Android, tap More, Settings, Site settings, then Third-party cookies and choose Allow third-party cookies.
Cause 5: a stored page is out of date
The setting is right but the lobby still shows an old screen
